Booking

You can book all lessons via this web page, by calling or e-mailing us and additionally directly at the Surf center.
Once we agree on a date, and you receive a Booking Confirmation, the booking is binding.

Rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule to new date with less than 10 calendar days before your lesson, we charge an administration fee of 500kr.
Rescheduling due to bad weather is free. We do not reschedule in case of rain.

Cancellation

Since the demand is high during the summer, it is important that you notify us as soon as possible if you cannot participate.

• If you cancel less than 10 calendar days before the lesson date, 50% of lesson cost will be refunded.

• If you cancel less than 5 calendar days before the lesson date, you are not eligible for a refund.

Payment

You can pay by Credit Card at the center, Swish us or get an invoice.
In case of late cancellation, an invoice is sent via email.

Wind warranty

We cannot control nature. This is why we have the so called “wind warranty” on all our kite courses.

Wind warranty means:

If you somehow can not complete all or part of your practical kite course because of the wind, you will have the opportunity to complete the course during the season and throughout the coming season without additional cost. We have an optional offer if you’re living in, or will be visiting Stockholm. You will be able to finish your lessons with our cooperating kite school in Stockholm. You will get a voucher which will be valid one year.

Wind warranty applies when:

• The theoretical parts of the lesson have been completed, and we cannot proceed with pratical parts of the lesson.

• The wind is too weak or too strong.

• It stops blowing, or that it decreases so that it is not possible to fly a kite.

• The wind increases and it starts to blow too much to fly a kite.

• The wind is extremely gusty.

Liability

All participation is at your own risk. Therefore look into your personal accident insurance before the course starts.
You should have your own valid home insurance that covers possible damage to person or property.
Before your lesson you will have to sign a registration form with all the terms & conditions as well as a release of liabilities.

Release of liability - waiver of legal rights and assumption of risk 

            In consideration for the renting, purchasing of kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment from and/or the utilizing of the facilities, ground school, instruction, premises, and equipment of Kiteboarding Academy dakhla in engaging in the sport of kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/skimboarding  ground instruction, water instruction, I hereby understand and agree to this release of liability, waiver of legal rights and assumption of risk, and to the terms hereof as follows:

1,       I acknowledge that kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities is an action sport and recreational activity involving travel in three dimensions and such activity is subject to mishap and even injury to participating in the sport of kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities.

2.       I hereby RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Kiteboarding Academy Dakhla and their office, directors, elected officials, agents, employees, instructors and owners of equipment and the land used for kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities activities (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action that I may hereafter have for injuries or damages arising out of my participation in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities, including, but not limited to, losses CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

3.       I understand and acknowledge that kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/skimboarding activities have inherent dangers that no amount of care, caution, instruction or expertise can totally eliminate. I EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK OF DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY SUSTAINED WHILE PARTICIPATING IN KITESURFING/SUP/SURFING/SKIMBOARDING ACTIVITIES WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES 

4.       I further agree that I WILL NOT SUE OR MAKE A CLAIM against the Released parties for damages or other losses sustained as a result of my participation kitesurfing/SUP/other  activities.

5.        I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS from all claims, judgment, and costs, including attorneys ``fees, incurred in connection with any action brought as a result of my participation in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities.

6.       I will take full responsibility for, and hold harmless Released parties for any injury that I may suffer or inflict upon others or their property as a result of my engaging in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities.

7.       I agree that I will operate the said kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment in a reasonable and safe manner so as not to endanger the lives of persons or property of any individual.

8.        I have read and understood the above and acknowledge that the same constitutes a release of liability and waiver of my legal rights and also an acknowledgement of the assumption by me of all risks arising out of my engaging in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities.

9.        I  further represent that this release of liability, waiver of legal rights and assumption of risk shall continue in full force and effect for so long as I engage in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities activities which are anyway connected to or with Released Parties.

10.     I further represent that I am at least 18 years of age, or that as the parent or legal guardian I waive and release any and all legal rights that may accrue to me, to my minor child as the result of any injury that my son or daughter (minor) may suffer while engaging in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities.

11.      I hereby expressly  recognize that this Release of Liability, Waiver of Legal Rights and Assumption of Risk is a contract pursuant to which I have released any and all claims against the Released Parties resulting from participation in kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities including any claims by the negligence of the Released Parties 

Rental conditions

1.       On signature of enrollment from, persons hitting kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment or taking lessons agree to the following: that they are able to swim for at least 15 minutes.

2.       The person renting equipment must be in good health and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

3.       Clients rent or take kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/skimboarding classes under their own responsibility.

4.       For security reasons equipment will only be hired to persons who have mastered basic concepts of kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities and able to ride in the prevailing conditions.

5.       Payment must be made in advance. Money will not be returned for rentals that are not used.

6.       Please pay attention to the advice of our instructors. They will not hire out kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment if they consider the condition to be dangerous.

7.       Swimmers, divers and fishing boats have the priority. Keep a safe distance from these and other kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities sailors/surfers (min 5 meters).

8        We aim to have the best equipment available for you and try to maintain it in the best possible condition. Please help us by treating the kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment carefully.

Specials

      * Please do not leave your kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment in the water. Even for short rest leave you equipment on the beach in  a manner which does not disturb others and not more than 30 min.

* In the case of prolonged rest, return the kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment to the school to protect from ultraviolet rays.

*  When you have finished riding, return the kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment, to the school. Please rinse your wetsuit,  harness, and put them         back in their place.

* Before riding, check your kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment. If it is damaged we will change it.

9.       Damage to kitesurfing/SUP/surfing/other activities equipment will be paid for by the client. The price is equal to the cost price to Ksurf.se.

         This does not include damage due to normal usage of the equipment.          

   10.     No hiring or teaching may be undertaken without a valid properly undersigned registration document.

 I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS, AND ASSUMPTION OF

 RISK, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS  CONTENTS AND SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
